Unibap AB (publ) has received an order of a SpaceCloudâ iX5 and iX10 development equipment by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to be delivered at the end of March 2022. This allows JAXA to explore the potential of SpaceCloudâ and to evaluate its use in future missions.
The contract is the result of a request from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) about a computing platform capable of progressing beyond state-of-the-art AI applications in space. They select Unibap as the candidate provider of this technology. The delivery of a development equipment allows JAXA to explore the potential of SpaceCloudâ with the support from Unibap and to evaluate its use in future space missions. The sale is enabled by the company NASAM, which works as a local distributor and reseller for Unibap in Japan and South Korea.
