Unibap's US distributor Moog Inc is ordering more SpaceCloud development units for $123,000 USD with immediate delivery. The order follows several previous smaller orders and includes application development systems for Unibap's next generation SpaceCloud solutions, called iX10. The products will be distributed to customers in the United States.
Unibap is required to disclose this information under the EU Market Abuse Regulation. The information was submitted for publication October 7, 2020 at 08:30 CET.
The iX10 product family, like the current iX5 family, consists of several products, ranging from software development solutions as well as products for satellite development and products for the actual operation in space. This order is for "app" development products that in the next stage can be commissioned on board satellites with SpaceCloud hardware. The iX10 family increases performance and adds the ability to reuse software from Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications on Earth.

We can see how tests and evaluations progress and the systems advance towards real missions. Unibap has previously communicated a rapidly growing interest in the company's SpaceCloud products and is currently under direct contract to NASA. Unibap's SpaceCloud offerings include both computer hardware and software that enables data analytics, data storage, communication, and the use of software modules "apps" in space.
Since January 2019, Unibap and Moog Inc. have had a distribution and licensing agreement for AI in space systems.
