Husqvarna Group AB orders automated intelligent quality assurance of SEK 3.55 million with delivery during 2018 based on Unibap's Intelligent Vision System (IVS-70) and associated software skill modules.
Unibap communicated in 2017 to the market that the company has conducted several pilot projects within the framework of the "Perfect View" project in collaboration with major industrial companies. Unibap and Husqvarna Group AB has performed a pilot study in parallel with the "Perfect View" project, where Unibap's Intelligent Vision System (IVS) has been successfully evaluated with model-free learning for quality service and flexible automation in production. The pilot project was concluded with positive results regarding Husqvarna's quality assurance needs and form the basis for this continued commercial relationship.
Unibap and Husqvarna also participate and collaborate in parallel to this order in a new research project called "DigiLoad" that focuses on flexible automation in automatic hanging and unpacking of components in industrial production.
- Unibap is an exciting innovation company that contributes with an interesting and important feature around quality control of automated manufacturing processes. Husqvarna is engaged in a major change program called The Smart Plant (TSP) - which involves a transformation of the factory in Huskvarna, Sweden, with vision automated production, interconnected processes and full traceability. Unibap's intelligent vision system thus harmonizes with Husqvarna's internal visions of digitalization and the smart factory, says Mattias Runbjörk, project manager at Husqvarna.
